Back on the bandwagon (for now...)

Once again!  I'm so far behind its not even funny!  I was looking through the pictures that i uploaded to my computer and they are seriously out of date.  Like...our tans that we all had in these pictures have long faded.  sad.  i dont even know where to begin, so i'm just going to jump right into pictures...grab a comfy blanket b/c you'll be here a while.

Well back in september, tom took a whole entire week off of work...it was amazing! we took advantage of what our city has to offer, starting with the children's museum!

 fun with blowing air!

1st time she willingly went down a slide by herself.

 remember richmond gordmans?!
we had our old neighbors over to watch the nebraska game...go team go!

somewhere in this week that tom had off of work, we also went to the zoo but forgot the camera.  oops.
at the end of the week, we made our annual pumpkin patch visit...this time we got some fun guests to go with us...grandma gwen and papa neal!

penny was a little too scared to ride the ponies....also too scared to go into the corn pit. wah wah.
 she loooves her papa neal!

 train ride!
penny did however love jumping with her grandma gwen!

 hi pretty girl. :)
happy halloween! (dont put my hair into pig tails momma!)
 love my little cupcake!

 trick-or-treat!

 talking with daddy...

**hard to believe that these next 2 pics are just 1 year apart!

this is a common scene in our household...penny throwing out all of her toys without any hesitation of where its landing or whom it may hit...
all so she can lounge in her toy box all to herself.

love you penny girl...youre going to be a wonderful big sister.  :)

a little behind...

whoops! once again...we are running a little late on updating this thing! oooooh well!  a few weeks ago, my parents were headed out to colorado for the copper mountain guitar-town concert which was only a couple of hour away from my sister celine's place.  so last minute...honestly, last minute, penny and i decided to tag along.  i mean, why not?!  ive been wanting a little get away who better to make the drive out with than my parents?!  i was kind of nervous driving 8-9 hours with a 15 month old but she really did great between dvd's of mickey mouse (thank goodness for cars with dvd players!!) and grandma gwen!  penny loooooves her grandma gwen!  :)  too bad tom couldnt go though...darn work!
it was so good to see my sister, vance and the kiddos!  i cant believe how much they grow in the matter of a couple of months!  crazy!  here are some pics from our trip out there!

mr. lane...so grown up!  starting pre-school already!
how cute is miss logan grace?!
 crawling and loving it!
melty chocolate cookies outside call for immediate clothes removal on penny's part.  i dont think she cared...
 mr. gage loving his cookie!

 aunt celine love.

 happy logan!
douglas county in castle rock had their annual parade...fun times!
penny wasnt too sure of everything....big horses, loud sirens, candy being all thrown about...
we spent the evening at copper mountain..beautiful!  it was amazing having a break from the grueling 100+ degree weather we have been having here in omaha.
uncle vance showing penny how to take in the scenic views.

go ahead a get your sticky finger prints all over that window penny!  heck, its not my house!
doyle dykes playing at the guitar-town festival.

great picture...too bad those guys totally photo bombed it in the background!

 sweet glasses dude.
lane and gage jumping so high!

 driving back to omaha...
back at home...isnt this why we all have kids?  to make them do things that we dont want to do...like dust?
 dry noodles...colander...interesting activity!

watching the storm roll in...1st time in nebraska in light years it seems.
rain!! woohoo!...too bad it only last about 3 minutes...
somebody got into mommy's make up!
our church had a really fun festival with live music, food, ballon rides, etc last weekend!  it was awesome! and even better that it was not 8,000 degrees outside!  love our church!

who told this little girl that she could grow up so fast?!
