Well lets see here...since our last entry, i ended up taking penny to the e.n.t. and she got tubes placed in her ears. she's a champ...to any parents out there that have kids that need tubes: its super easy. i think the most nerve racking part of it was not being able to nurse penny right when she woke up in the morning. fortunately, she woke up only about 10 minutes before we were set to head to the surgical center in the morning so we didnt have to fuss around with having to distract her from the fact that she was not going to eat! i forgot to bring my camera to the hospital but i did snap this cute cell phone pic of her in her surgical pj's:
the dr came and got penny and quickly (i emphasize on the word quickly...like we didnt even get to say goodbye!) and before we knew it, the dr was back telling us that penny did great. i think penny was only under for a grand totally of maybe 15 minutes. i fed her as soon as she woke up from being under and we were sent on our merry way. the dr said that she would probably be super sleepy that day....negative. i'll admit, i was kind of looking forward to a day of quietness...not so much! i'm not saying she was bad...she wasnt bad at all...but she was her normal usual self! goofy as can be! here is penny getting a snack when we got home...what a look!
Alright! back to "every day" pictures. note: contrary to what these pictures show, i actually do take my daughter out of our house. i guess i need to start taking my camera with us places....geeze, another thing to carry!!
