this, that and other...

for some reason i'm stuck in a huge "writer's block" about what to write in this post.  i guess i'll get right to the pictures then! (simple enough.)

every now and then we get to watch our neighbor's little girls, Avery and Ella...this is exactly how i want my future to look like...Tom being surrounded by 3 girls. :)

 Christmas Eve!  This year we actually headed out to my sister, Celine's, house for the holidays.  it was a wonderful trip with beautiful weather...

 Christmas morning..."is this how i'm supposed to open presents, momma?"

 Celine and Vance welcomed their 3rd bundle of joy on December 21st...their 1st daughter, Logan Grace.  Isn't she beautiful?!

 penny fell asleep in grandma gwen's arms during lunch...what?! she never just "falls asleep" for me!

 ...she's got that whole "smoldering" look pretty down pat.

 we got to hang out with my other sister, dana, on our last day in colorado. being able to hang out for only about 9 or 10 hours in not nearly enough time!

 back home in nebraska...can you spot penny?
